Clone or not I got to admit the two features it has I really like are the standard back rack
And the way they did the header to tuck up higher giving more clearance underneath for off roading.
It comes with a 250cc engine I wonder what the power & top speeds like? I'm thinking 20hp 85mph tops. Will be interesting to see if any owners of grom clones end up on this forum.

Then a company In Taiwan is swapping in a common 250cc motor that has the same mounts as the 150cc motor they come with.
A kind of clone swap upgrade using mostly chinese parts. I think the 250cc air cooled engine they swap in is a common type I have seen swaped into other bikes such as the KTR 150 and Kymco quanam Expecting them to be about 20hp

I like it! Even if it's a fake and will probably fall apart in exciting and unexpected ways, it'll be fun while it lasts.

The picture shows a total length of 168cm How long is a real grom? I wonder how good of a clone it is. In vietnam People were driving honda cloned scooters that seemed to last 50-60K Km's. Even then they just needed a new head and some parts broke more, but parts were also cheaper and could be replaced with better quality parts. In Taiwan the total package of Clone + 250cc engine swap comes to 2000usd The 250cc is a 6 speed and has 16Hp at 6500rpm.
Sounds like an old xr250cc engine clone type.
I think these will be a big hit in Vietnam because of the licensing and importation of cloned bikes there seems to be lax and the bikes get sold and legally licensed to drive there for close to their initial already cheap selling price. Other countries are tuffer on the licensing of these kind of clone bikes but at times in Ho Chi Minh city it seems like 30-50% of the population is driving a Honda Clone Scooter.

27CM ground clearance. Whats the groms clearance? Anyone know off hand?
